Who We Are

Since Heirs of Grace (HOG) opened our doors in September 2015, we have seen the Lord move in mighty ways! From young families to individuals young-at-heart, everyone feels welcome to come as they are. With church services on Saturday evenings at 6:30 PM, some people come to our services and then go to their church on Sundays. HOG also has committed weekly members that share the same vision and call Heirs of Grace home. Though we don't officially have "memberships", these families see that community is where it's at. We are not about numbers or memberships; we are about really getting to know people, loving them right where they’re at, sharing the Good News about Jesus, and letting God be God!

PURPOSE

Our purpose as a church is simple…to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone we meet; here at home and across the nations. Dicipleing those who have ears to hear and raising up leaders to do the same.

VISION

We are a community of believers bound together by a faith relationship in Jesus Christ with a passion to reach everyone with the message of true freedom. Our vision is to be a church family that builds community with those seeking a greater purpose in life.

What We Believe

We believe in the Holy Trinity. We believe in one true God that eternally exists as three Persons –Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God. We believe that God is One in essence, three in Person each fully God and equally God each equal in nature, attributes and glory, and worthy of worship and obedience. We  believe that none is greater or less than the other but all equal and united. We believe that the Bible has revealed the name and person of God for His creation to call Him. We believe that the Triune God is perfect, eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. In God being very God, He is true, holy, just, good, faithful, loving, merciful and gracious. God is way beyond what we could ever comprehend.

We believe the Bible is inspired: God is its ultimate author.

We believe the Bible is inerrant: God used human authors to write exactly what He wanted without error.

We believe the Bible is infallible: It is incapable of error and will accomplish exactly what God wants

 

Every person who has experienced a life-transforming encounter with Jesus understands the importance and power of the Word of God in their lives. People look at me funny when I say..."I am not religious". That is, unless you truly define religion as God does, "taking care of widows and orphans". Religion as the world defines, has started wars, destroyed family and to this day divides "the church". If you are looking for a place where people don't stare at you because of how you are dressed, and where they greet you with a hug and a smile. If you are looking for a place to feel welcome no matter where you come from, what tone your skin is or how much money you make. Do you want to learn more about who God says He is, and, who God says you are? Well,  you might have found a new place to hang out. Everyone is welcome at Heirs of Grace!

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40
